Uncle James came to visit for a few days and we went sailing, which he hated every minute of, especially the dinghy ride to the beach at Isla Ons. In fact he decided to take the ferry back. There was a good breeze so we were cruising along at 7 knots. These pictures ar...

When we were in Portosin (Ria de Muros) we bought an Optimist for me and Nina. It's red. The previous owner Pepe is here helping me rig it and sail it back to Antares. It now sits on our foredeck.

While we were in Galicia Granny and Grandad and Uncle James came for a visit. We went to Santiago de la Compostela. Granny has walked the Camino twice so she knew the city well. It was very busy but we had a yummy picnic near the market

We spend a great week touring the Gulf of Morbihan, going up the river to Vannes and anchoring off the islands. Some of the villages were very pretty.

We had great weather while in Donegal and the beaches are fantastic. We saw a humpback whale breach near Killybegs. Some of the anchorages were great, like Churchpool and Frenchport.

This week we were in Derry. The museum was great - we saw the exhibition about the Spanish Armada wrecks around the Irish coast. We walked along the city walls and looked at the murals. The pontoon was in the city centre which made it easy to get around.

On the 19th of May we got to Rathlin and went to see some birds on the RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) nature reserve. Which is also home to the Rathlin Lighthouse. My fave bird was the Kittywake even though they're mistaken for seagulls. And seagulls...
